   We ate in a room away from the main dining area. Very quiet and easy to have a conversation. We both had Chilean sea bass. It was perfectly prepared and was delicious. Our server provided excellent service.

   Absolutely delicious meal and amazing service! The Chilean sea bass was phenomenal as well as the flourless chocolate torte and espresso martini. Everyone in my party loved their dish! Definitely will be back

   Everything was great, unfortunately all the dishes we ordered were very blend, except the salad. Beef carpaccio was blend, the pasta was blend, the wild salmon was moist but no seasoning whatsoever. Waiter was very nice and polite.

   Overall we liked our first time dining chez Sorrel, there were some issues, the way the waiter who served us communicated was not very impressive, while he was polite the entire time. The machine is set to 20-22 percent tip & it was not easy to change it to 15-18 percent. Portions were decent and enough, We ordered Duck Confit & Roasted Salmon. Duck confit was good, not oily while the Salmon was tasteless, therefore pricy for no flavour. For dessert, we had Non Flour Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice cream and it was very good. Repeat? Maybe, make sure you book a table in the back dining room as the noise level in the main dining room shall exceed any healthy noise level!! Lol

   A beloved Rosedale institution for 15 years, this restaurant offers impeccable service (thank you Harry!), expertly crafted dishes, and a beautifully refined ambiance. Crisp tablecloths, individual lighting, and an intimate, romantic atmosphere make it a standout. And the grand finale? The best crème brûlée in town—no contest.

   One of the most delicious meals we’ve had in a long time. Everything was cooked perfectly and presented beautifully. Warm, lovely ambience and outstanding service. Highly recommend this place!!

    My wife and I are regular patrons of Sorrel. We order six plates to share right through to dessert to maximize our culinary experience. One dish we deem a must is the lobster ravioli. We added grilled calamari and scallop ceviche as our appetizers. Our mains were two go to dishes, salmon and hangar steak. We ended the meal with duo sorbet of passion fruit and strawberry. Couple these dishes with attentive service and an hour and a half later we were smiling from ear to ear and heading home thoroughly satisfied with yet another excellent Sorrel dining experience. If you are reading this post to decide whether or not to dine at Sorrel, do yourself a favour and hit the reservation button. You will be very pleased with your choice.
