   Music was loud and obnoxious. Didn’t feel like it fit the supposed environment . The food was knock out and this was a special occasion as I was proposing to my girlfriend. The music was just so bad I couldn’t even!! Country and rock music in an expensive Italian restaurant??? Ummm where’s the, “Volare”, “dean martin”, or even some Michael Bublé to set the evening? No they were playing, you shook me all night long by kiss was playing so loud. Really dissatisfied with the ambience but everything else was fantastic. Still 4 star

   Sotto is not just a restaurant but also an experience. The food delivered doesn't simply just scratch the itch brought to us by hunger. It is perfectly seasoned, sculpted, and delivered. Sotto feels like a restaurant desperate to leave you impressed. The staff is incredible I ran into several different people working and they were all very kind and pleasant. The ambiance is exactly something you would dream of for a first date or wedding anniversary. The space is dark, and your table is lit by candlelight this sets up for a space of focused conversation. When you combine exquisite food, delightful staff, and a wonderful atmosphere you can really deliver on a 1 of 1 experience. Sotto does everything it can to leave you with a wow. 10/10!!!

   Our first visit to Sotto and it did not disappoint. It was the perfect place to celebrate my retirement. As my husband said: I think this is the best restaurant in Cincinnati! We will be back!

   What to do on a rainy Thursday afternoon? We usually have a hard time snagging a reservation at Sotto but no on a Thursday at 4:15! The place was already filling up which is a sign of a great restaurant. But we knew that already. Our seasonal salad was a great starter to share, as were both of our pasta dishes, one with wild boar, the other with short rib. We shared those two so we could each share the deliciousness of both. We can’t pronounce them, but our perfectly delightful, helpful, and efficient server Tori did! She was awesome! A perfectly delightful way to ease into our evening!

    First time here! Food was excellent and every staff member is very knowledgeable about every course. Table maintenance was on point every step of the way! Great job!
