   Arrived on time for the reservation they were very busy and waited an extra 20-25 minutes until a table was ready. The server was busy so we waited an extra 10 minutes at the table. The manager brought us water while we waited. It was a very busy Friday night so we were not surprised it took a little time to get situated. Our server was wonderful and the food was great as always.

   What an amazing experience with our friends tonight. Walking into Sotto sets the night as it’s dimly lit and has dark wood walls. Our apps were good but the pastas were mouth watering. Prices are very reasonable which is why the place is hard to get into. We were never rushed and the waiter explained the entire menu. We will be coming back soon once we can find a decent time on Open Table.

   I’ve always appreciated Sotto for its excellent service—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. That part has remained consistent, and I give credit to the team for maintaining such a great atmosphere. That said, the food just isn’t what it used to be. Years ago, when the restaurant was new, it had something really special going for itself. But as time passes and original chefs move on, the brand inevitably changes. While the food is still decent, it no longer has that standout quality it once had. My biggest complaint, though, is the bar program. It may just be one of the weakest in the city. A great cocktail should have the kind of care and craftsmanship you find at places like 5050 Drink Club, Longfellow, or MidCity. Unfortunately, the drinks at Soda just don’t measure up. They need to figure this part out because, right now, it’s a miss. Overall, still a good spot with great service, but it’s lost some of the magic that made it special in the beginning. And if they want to compete in a city with an evolving bar scene, they need to seriously rethink their cocktails.

   Sotto is an absolute joy. Great atmosphere, Exceptional service, and absolutely the best food. Hats off to Sotto. Can’t wait to come back

   Sotto is always amazing!!!! The hostess, lacked a welcoming vibe. We had great service from our server!!! She was so knowledgeable about the menu and so helpful! Ambience is always so romantic, but so dark. I had to utilize my flashlight on my phone in order to read the menu. Food and wine were amazing. By the end of dinner, it was so loud I found myself yelling to converse with my party.
