                                                                  A few of us met up at South City Kitchen to eat before an event. The place was crowded and loud - both downstairs and upstairs. Our server was fantastic, constantly checking in and got us our food quickly. The drinks too a while, but apparently there was a backup at the bar. The food was a mixed bag - some was really good (fried green tomatoes) and others were just meh (spoonbread, pork belly.) My Country Thyme Lemonade (alcoholic beverage) didn't have much flavor and felt like a light pour.

                                                                  An excellent dining experience and the staff was superb. They are committed to quality. We visited for brunch and had the chicken and waffles which exceeded expectations. The vegetables and rice and the king biscuit rounded out our experience and were delicious. Highly recommend.
