The Pearl is a spectacular destination if you are visiting San Antonio. The smoked pork chop and fried chicken was delicious and exceeded our expectations. Would highly recommend it for a great dining experience. The Emma Hotel lobby is also a great place to relax.

Service was lacking. Side dish was served without the main course. Grits were very coarse and lacked flavor. Our wait staff did not have good knowledge of the menu.

Logan our server was pleasant and very knowledgeable of our order. It is so cool when you get a chance to go back to one of your favorite restaurants and the server know your order before you even tell it to them that is why (Southerleigh) is one of my top three restaurants. Everyone there really treats you special and they just have a really great group of individuals that work at (Southerleigh)’s.

We were a group of six. We had boiled shrimp, calamari and cornbread for apps. They were all great! One of the diners mentioned that the cornbread was the best he'd ever had! For dinner we had steaks and pork chops and lots of sides. The meats were very good. However, the sides were not as tasty. The carrots and mac and cheese were a bit dry and the Caesar salad had pickles in it (which was a bit off pudding).

The food was good, but the service was lacking. We asked for items several times and did not receive them. Needless to say, we will come back because the fried chicken was delicious.
