Sparks Steak House was opened in 1966 by Michael and Pasquale Cetta, hence the logo 'Cetta Brothers Steak Masters'. The restaurant is still a family owned and operated business and is located in midtown Manhattan, a five minute walk from Grand Central Station and The United Nations. Join us to celebrate 50 years of business!



The restaurant is well known for excellent steaks, seafood, fresh vegetables and satisfying salads.

                                                                                                    We love this place! So classic, so old school and always a great meal. Filets are delicious as are those amazing mushroom caps (what’s the secret here??? Lemon? I just can’t replicate them at home). Service is impeccable. Thanks for making our holiday dinner with our favorite niece so special.

                                                                                                    Ate at Sparks several years ago on a business trip and it was incredible. My wife and I took a weekend trip to the city and as much as I built the restaurant up we had to have dinner (12/7/24). Wish we would have dined elsewhere. We had a reservation and they place us in the lower level part of the restaurant right next to a retractable type wall. There were plenty of tables in other sections. At one point they brought a cart right next to where I was sitting and was stacking dirty dishes while we were dining. With all of those issues the worst part was the server. I would like to be able to inform you of his name as to never to request but he never told us. He was very inattentive and boardline rude. When asked about any specials or what he recommended he said no specials and all was good. Once our food arrived he never once came by to do a quality check or ever ask if we needed anything. We had to wave down others to have our waters refilled. After never seeing him once until after we finished he asked if we wanted dessert. We declined and he said he is required to ask. When we paid our credit card was not returned. We had to wait another 10 mins until we saw him and he pulled it out of his apron . Not the kind of experience you expect from this type of high dollar establishment. I apologized to my wife all the way back to hotel as I had built it up. I am giving a mid-range review as the food was good. Very disappointing and will not return. Too many other better establishments in the area to receive such poor service.
