   It was just so expensive for ok steak Price guide inaccurate Was $$$$ not $$ Not worth it Nice service and ambiance but the food for price did not match

   I’ve been going to Spencer‘s for 10 years on and off over 20 times. My meal last night was probably one of the most disappointing meals I’ve had there. I paid extra for the butchers selection and the steak was very poorly cooked. And the cut of beef was nowhere near what I was expecting for the additional $30. It was more expensive that the wagyu. It was obviously a sous vide steak that may have been in the sous vide way too long. There was no sear. There was no seasoning. Unfortunately Spencer‘s has declined significantly over the last year.

   As a family we like to attend the final Nutcracker performance of Ballet West and then head to Spencer's for a birthday celebration. Like very year, the performance was perfect as was dinner. Many thanks to the folks at Spencer's for a great evening!

   Waiter was also waiting on the party room and it took us a long time to get our orders in for our meals and dessert. Other than that, he was great and the food was great, as always!

   David was an amazing server and made our birthday celebration for our daughter very special. The prime rib melted in your mouth. The baked Alaska was delicious.

    Mixed Experience – Exceptional Steak but Poor Service We recently dined at this restaurant, and while some aspects were outstanding, others left much to be desired. Food: •The wagyu filet was exceptional—perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. •We tried the duck special, where the thigh was flavorful but the breast tasted too gamey for our liking. •The carrots were overcooked and mushy, while the loaded potatoes lacked seasoning and were quite bland. •A highlight was the Beef Wellington, which was traditionally prepared and tasted incredible. Kudos to the manager for personally preparing this dish for us! Service: Unfortunately, the service significantly detracted from our experience. Our server, Jamie, was impatient, unhelpful, and made us feel unwelcome. He mentioned the kitchen was closing and rushed us, even though the restaurant continued seating guests after we arrived. He also offered no guidance or opinions when we inquired about menu items, which dampened the otherwise beautiful evening. Overall: The food had some standout moments, especially the wagyu filet and Wellington, but the poor service overshadowed the meal. The manager was understanding and responsive when we shared our concerns, which we appreciated. With more attention to service and consistency in food quality, this could be an exceptional dining experience.
