Spotos Fish & Oyster in Palm Beach Gardens is as authentic as you can get. With fresh-shucked cold-water oysters that come from Long Island and Cape Cod along with a full menu of seafood delights, there is no reason to go anywhere else in search of a premier oyster bar. Patrons can dine inside or outside, weather permitting, for lunch or dinner.

The main event at Spotos Fish & Oyster is, of course, the oysters on the half shell; menu doesn't disappoint. Enjoy Bluepoint from Long Island, Wellfleet from Cape Cod and a daily featured oyster the chef has selected. Littleneck and Cherrystone clams from Cape Cod are also on the menu. Both oysters and clams are offered raw as well as in many dishes.

    My husband and I had a wonderful time celebrating Valentine's Day. Robin took wonderful care of us, gave great recommendations, staged the food well and to our preferences, and was great to chat with. We enjoyed the oysters, grilled artichoke, salmon bites, ribs, and little necks, which were especially delicious.

    Great dining experience overall at Spoto’s last night. Bright natural light, high ceilings and white tablecloths contributed to a clean, modern feel in the dining room. There were plenty of staff on hand to fill water, run food and clear plates. Our server Cassie was excellent- both friendly and professional. Answered our questions about the menu with ease. The menu was varied and it was hard to choose from lots of fresh seafood options. Ultimately, we enjoyed the ceviche, shrimp cocktail, crabcake and shrimp and grits. All were outstanding- the flavors complemented each other beautifully and allowed the seafood to take center stage. The bread service was worthwhile- piping hot and plentiful to sop up the yummy sauces. Coffee and dessert finished the meal. We had the excellent chocolate cake- but there were four or five other choices that sounded equally tempting. The Julius Meinl branded coffee service was a really nice touch that ended our dinner on a high note. I can’t wait to come back!

    The overall experience was quite enjoyable; however, the prompt reminder of having only 90 minutes to dine as we were led to our table added a bit of pressure that could have been avoided. I found myself frequently checking my watch, wishing for just enough time to fully enjoy the experience. While we did finish and manage to leave on time, it was a bit of a distraction from what could have been a more enjoyable time.

    We sat outside on the deck for Valentines Day and it was very nice. The restaurant went way out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had plenty of room to dine outside on the deck. Our Server Cassidy was the best. I would ask for her anytime. She was so nice and knowledgeable, and it was a pleasure having her taking care of us. She made our Spotos experience so much better.
