   I’ve been coming to Spuntino since it opened and it’s a reliable restaurant and conveniently located for meeting my friends. The service, however, is unpredictable. There’s been a handful of times it wasn’t great but the food always is. Last night though the service was awesome! Our server, Ross, was so attentive and didn’t rush us or pressure us and he was quick to refill our glasses. He’s a gem! Although the food portions seem small, (we’re so accustomed to oversized dishes) they were all delicious. I had the short ribs and it was perfect. I would, however, recommend that when ordering pizza to ask for it to be more “done”. Of course I’ll be back soon.

   Poor experience from start to finish. Poor service, bad food, amateur restaurant experience. Indicated Birthday when making the reservation, no acknowledgement.

   The food was good. The ambience was really good. The only problem was someone booked a party that overlapped my table with my guests, and it was very loud and very uncomfortable. The manager apologized, but it was not a good setting.

   We arrived just after 5P on a Friday ,when lunch special crowd was leaving. Very quiet with only few patrons in bar area, and noise level remained acceptable with dining area filling up as we were eating dessert. Our server was very attentive and allowed enough time between our small plates, appetizers to roll out from the kitchen. We had to wait for entrees due to one of the orders prepared wrong in kitchen, but server kept us informed of the situation. Chicken was very salty in both dishes. Next time will stick to appetizers, pizza salads.

   Always a great dining experience at Spuntino. Fan favorites are the short ribs, lamb chops, picante pizza and the wine selection. The winekeeper tasting was top notch! Very hard to get tastings of the selected wines, so pleasant surprise. Highly recommended.

    I expected the food to be good, but not this good. Outstanding: seared tuna bruschetta, chicken Milanese, and the Mediterranean Mule.
