Terre Haute Brewing Company erected our beautiful Victorian Stables building in 1890. The building actually housed Clydesdale, Belgian and various other draft horses that delivered beer for the brewery. For private groups, the rear two-thirds of the upper level is our grand banquet hall. The room seats groups from 30-100. Lavish buffets or sit down meals for business dinners and programs, family gatherings, wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, and holiday parties. At Stables Steakhouse we want you to sit back and relax. Take in the surroundings and enjoy the finer things in life...a big steak, a great bottle of wine, and warm hospitality!

                                                                      This is one of the finest places to eat in town. The service is always top notch and the food is excellence. The individual stalls make it seem very personal. Would recommend to anyone wanting fine dinning.

                                                                      Made note to request booth at time of reservation. Was seated in open dining even thought multiple booth spaces were open. Downhill from there. Ordered ribeye which was cooked as ordered but was the most unflavored steak I have had in a long time. Definitely not something that should have been served at a 60+ pricetag. Have had better steaks from Golden Corral buffet which is sad. The blacked chicken was also ordered. The chicken was nice and tender but had an extreme amount of spices. Which that in itself wouldn’t have been bad if the drinks would have been kept up on. End result, her mouth burning so her entree goes uneaten and I get tired of chewing cardboard tasting steak so leave 2/3 of it behind. Definitely no value for the money spent on this visit. Will not be returning.
