   Starbelly is a really pleasant space with a good variety of food options; we chose it this day because it could accommodate our small dog in the back patio (miss the pandemic outside front seating a lot!) but with a roof in case the weather had not been good. Also, they serve a good version of a loco moco with sweet soy instead of brown sauce on weekends, and like fried chicken, that's the kind of thing that is a pain to make at home but easy in a commercial kitchen. Finally, they have non-alcoholic options that aren't drastically second-class.

   Our waiter Jorge was wonderful: quite attentive, accommodating, and right on point with explanations. The healthy but tasty salads are a large enough for a lunch meal itself.

   Always love it here but almost always have to keep my jacket on because it’s so cold. Especially inside.

   Server didn’t realize we were there until 13 mins of sitting there. They were to busy talking to their co workers.

    Went for my birthday dinner with a friend. We ordered appetizers and entrees. They brought both out at the same time, which was frustrating bc I had to choose between eating my cold salad first or hot entree. Eat the salad first then entree gets cold. The service was very bad and they weren’t busy. We ended up at our table for nearly two hours! They didn’t check up on us and after they cleared our plates they just disappeared for like 30 minutes. And they reappeared with a muffin with a candle, which was sweet but they never brought a dessert menu and by that point we just wanted the bill. The bill finally came and they charged us for the muffin. Was very strange to charge someone for something they didn’t order. Typically restaurants give you a dessert menu and they put a candle if you order something. I don’t think I’ll visit again bc the service was bad and I didn’t care for the entree the waiter recommended.
