Overall it was a great experience. Service was great complementary cake and ice cream for my daughter 21st birthday was delicious. If I had one critique I would say that the egg plant parm could use some revisions. The eggplant was too thick and undercooked. Overall nice ambience and truffle fries…yummy.

We spent Valentine’s Day at Bodega 8 in Mexicali. We arrived a bit ahead of our reservation time, but they seated us right away. We went with our usual favorites the octopus and the ribeye steak. The drinks were on point, and the dessert was incredible. We definitely recommend this place! The ambiance is charming and perfect for a romantic evening.

Mr. Tempo is a beautiful, festive and large restaurant perfect for hosting celebrations and parties of all sorts. They have a variety of seating formats for parties of all sizes. Definitely try their loco fries during Happy Hour which is all day except the hours between 6pm to 9pm. I tried their beef birria taco set and was impressed by the fried tortillas. The beef was a bit bland, but the fried outer shell makes up for it! I would return to try their other options.

They took over 20min to sit us while we had a reservation. I guess it’s pretty busy this time of the year?

Too much light, the refleccion on the white outside wall are tiresome
