   The hostess was horrible!!! She said they did not have my reservation and was very snooty. She insisted I showed her my email confirmation and she said “Oh well we don’t have it so you have to wait”. I waited for ten minutes and walked back up to the reception and saw my guests were already seated and had been waiting for me the whole time. When I talked to the hostess again and informed her my guests had arrived and already been seated she just shrugged. I should have talked to the manager, her behaviour was unacceptable anywhere, let alone the Ritz Carlton restaurant State Fare.

   A beautifully refreshed State Fair which is now a clean and bright palate along with fresh plants. The service continues to be top rate. Our server was Darrell and he is perfection personified! State Fair continues to be one of our go-to restaurants and bar in the Valley.

   food, service and atmosphere were outstanding. the music from the bar was too loud for a dinner setting and conversation. We asked for the table in the back and fixed all.

   Our experience was exceptional! Our server was particularly fantastic… wonderful young woman. We were celebrating an occasion which was made very special and exceeded our expectations. The lobster roll was really yummy. We definitely plan to return. Thank you!

   I took my friend to State Fare Bar and Kitchen for a birthday lunch and we had the most beautiful time sitting at a semi-circular booth overlooking the outer patio and the Coachella Valley below on a spectacular day. As a vegan I was delighted to have a lovely vegan option (a vegan wrap) and my friend enjoyed the pappardelle pasta dish. It was a quiet afternoon and we were given lots of space to just luxuriate in the beautiful environment. My friend said it is her new favorite lunch venue.

   The setting is lovely with a view of the hotel swimming pool and the valley below. The food quality was excellent. My only lament was slow service. Cheerful but very slow.

   We had a very enjoyable lunch here. The westher was beautiful, the view outstanding and the service was very nice. Lovely food and environment this afternoon at State Fare!

    Everything and everyone was amazing, from the time we arrived and Valet Michael was an exceptional young man! To Selena our server who was a gifted conversationalist! Extremely knowledgeable! The food, the drinks, the wine and the desert all five star!
