Bienvenue au Steak & Lobster Bloomsbury : le menu est déjà indiqué dans le nom. Le restaurant a fait le choix de peaufiner son menu. Avec moins de plats, il peut désormais se consacrer à parfaire ce qu'il fait de mieux : l'entrecôte de 300 g vieillie à sec et le homard frais entier servi en demi-coque. Le restaurant est convivial, ludique, moderne et élégant. Le chic sans les fioritures. Venez voir par vous-même ! Il n'y a qu'une seule règle : ne pas demander le plat du jour (il n'y en a pas). Overall very poor. Service was atrocious, with empty plates being left on the table and nobody really taking any care. Lots of staff were available to help but nobody came to help. The food was very mediocre, presentation was poor but the taste was ok. I got the surf and turf and there was practically no meat on the lobster. The restaurant as it was in a hotel had a very weird vibe, the room was incredibly bright and just felt weird. I would not go again. Do not recommend! Do not go!

Booked the two course meal for £40. As a hotel resident I also had an email to say 10% off food and drink. 4 of us to eat . 3 had pate starter which was nice but could have done with more bread. I had spicy beef taco with crème fresh. Could not taste the beef or spice and was average taste. Main course we all had steak with paprika fries and I ordered the salad which was £8. Was very underwhelming. Firstly fries... I expected thin fries with a nice coating of flavour but got normal oven style chips with a scarce sprinkling of paprika. They were also undercooked. Not nice at all. We also had to ask for salt, pepper. Vinegar and side sauce. The steak also received mixed views. Mine was very fatty And we all said not very flavoursome. The £8 salad? Was a bunch of rocket with a dressing. Extremely overpriced. . I appreciate its London prices but it was not worth the money at all. The service started out ok but I think as it became obvious we were not impressed , we were purposely ignored. The table next to us even commented on that. I told the waiter I wasn't happy with the chips and he offered to cook more which I didn't want. When the bill came, with no 10% off he got the manager. I found him aloof and said what do I want? I said I think at least a meal should be deducted. I also pointed out the 10% needed to come off. Despite the email I received saying ALL FOOD AND DRINKS ( no small print) he said it won't apply as we had the set menu. I felt a bit cheated to be honest. He then altered the bill and said he took off £30 of drinks and the salad. Upon return I still felt at nearly £200 it was just not worth it. I had to remind him that the 10% STILL needed to come off the carafe of wine and I requested took 12.5% service charge off. Verdict - nice decor. Modern. service Average, when bill So suffice to say we won't eat there again. Not worth the money. Our breakfast bagel from the shop further down the road the next morning was Delicious!

Lovely restaurant and setting, which was outdone by the quality and attention to detail in the food and the exceptionally friendly and attentive waiting staff. Hard to ask for more from the experience and keep up the great work all around!

The restaurant isn’t on Warren Street, it’s part of the Radisson Blu around the corner. Very underwhelming, would not book again.

The staff and service was absolutely fine but the food was not nice at all. The steak was tasteless as well as the small portion of half lobster which the surf and turf. The whole table pretty much got steak and all agreed it lacked flavour. The lobster you can tell is not fresh either which was disappointing considering prices.

While my waiter was nice this is NOT a high end steakhouse. It is inside a hotel and looks like such with no ambiance at all. My food was bland.. no taste at all. The price is not worth the food experience. I would recommend management consider re-marketing it for what it is.
