Our menu features Rustic Italian Recipes, Thin Crust Pizzas & Fresh Pastas. Stoneground Italian is located downtown in a second-story loft overlooking the architecturally acclaimed Salt Lake City Public Library. Since opening in 2000, owner Bob McCarthy has been cooking up a dining experience that’s warm, welcoming and firmly planted in his Irish-Italian roots. He takes a simple approach to serving delicious food: always fresh and house-made.
The environment at Stoneground is cool and casual; some describe it as a rustic/urban vibe. You’ll feel comfortable dressed as you are. The window tables have mesmerizing views and are ideal for intimate dining occasions. The outdoor deck seats about 40-people and is the go-to spot for your fair weather celebrations. Another great meal at Stoneground. Nono-Gpa pizza was perfect as always. Also tried the panzanella salad which was nicely done. Good Old World wines to pick from.

Great service!. The dishes served were well prepared. A trendy vibe so not a place you would go for a quiet Italian meal however it was enjoyable and worth the modest price.

I would not really describe this as a true Italian restaurant, the menu is more limited but very good The bar is excellent with a big selection

Been here a few times for business dinners - very "allergen friendly" with a variety of options! Would go back; worth a visit in SLC

Was a great location across from SLC Library. It is quaint space. The ambiance if other respected the beauty of the atmosphere thst they designed and settings would have been perect. Just was loud couldnt hear conversations at our table. Waitress was fantastic, Food fantastic!

My wife and I have been going here for years. Tonight we had a group of eight from work and everyone loved it! Half the table got the lasagna and couldn’t stop taking about how good it was, we all ate too much because it was so good. I would highly recommend Stoneground Kitchen!

Lovely ambience here and the food was excellent. While I waited was at attentive when he did come by, we felt like he left us sitting for a little too long. However, great meal and really like this restaurant. Highly recommend.

As always, a fantastic dinner experience!! We ordered a nice glass of wine and a cocktail, had the beet salad to start, and then both ordered the lobster pasta dish, as it is to die for!! Our server was the best as well, with great suggestions for us! Love this place...always a perfect evening!
