Locally owned and operated, Strip is the hottest new restaurant in Avon. We are located in the Olde Avon Village on Detroit Road in the historic Ewers Barn. We offer an innovative menu using only the highest quality ingredients, featuring USDA prime aged beef for its superior flavor and tenderness.     The food was excellent. The atmosphere was festive. Our server, Sue, was wonderful and efficient. The whole staff from the management on down is friendly and accommodating.

    Truly our favorite steak house. It's an annual trek from Richfield out to Avon for my daughter's birthday... Strip is her spot for Wagyu steaks! The menu and specials make decisions very tough, as there are so many choices. All the steaks were cooked perfectly and service was spot on. A pricey dinner but worth every penny. PS the Signature Old Fashioned is a great choice. Would highly recommend,

    Horrible experience. This once great restaurant has progressively gone down hill. There were plug in heaters to keep diners warm. Why no heat in the restaurant? The Men's bathroom was unusable as a urinal was overflowing. In 2.5 hours the men at our table could not use the restroom as the floor was flooded. The meatball appetizers were extremely overpriced (3 golf ball size for $15) and were so filled with pepper they were barely edible. Other than the pepper there was no flavor. We had to ask for many times straws, drinks, butter, missing pieces of salads, and food. Very long wait times for everything though the place was not nearly busy or full. Had to send back food multiple times for being cold then it was simply too dry & overcooked to eat. Specialty wedge salad was not a wedge at all. It was 3 pieces of Romain lettuce. Two of four steaks were not cooked properly. Mushrooms & onions ordered with steak were not correct. We were talked into a dessert item that was not brought, then explained to us was not actually available. Manager comped a dessert but that is definitely not enough, nor what we were after. When you spend $400 on your family's special Christmas dinner you expect a certain quality of food, service and atmosphere. The Strip use to be a top notch experience and meal, a benchmark. Sadly this is no longer true and we are already looking for a new place to celebrate our holiday next year. Strip definitely needs to do better!

    Strip continues to be my favorite restaurant in Northern Ohio. From the cocktails through the starters and the mains, we have never had a bad plate - ever. Tremendous quality and attention to detail. The kitchen is tight - well done
