Like the Highland neighborhood we call home, Sushi Hai is refined, with a funky bite to its elegance. Modern with a Japanese flair, and filled with exceptional art created in the neighborhood, this restaurant has a unique style and provides three floors of seating - and every table feels special. We also offer three private Tatami Rooms, which accommodate 8 to 10 diners in traditional Japanese floor-seating.

It was very empty for a Sunday. I have read a lot of raving reviews for this place so I took my boyfriend here for his birthday. We had a great server, just thought there would be more people in the restaurant. Overall we had a good meal

The location has several different levels never been on just the steakhouse bar side for lunch. Presentation was very nice with sushi rolls however, I felt the rolls were a little pricey than what I’m used to for a lunch menu. Overall it was good.

This was one of the best dinner experiences I have ever had. I loved the food, service, and the atmosphere. Highly recommend! I took my girlfriend here and they walked us into this underground seating area and the ambience was off the charts! The romantic vibe was impeccable and the food was so good. The appetizers were amazing and it was the bestttt sushi I’ve ever had. 11/10 would recommend and will be going again.

Great experience! It’s not the BEST sushi in Denver, but it’s very good value and the service was great. Will definitely be coming back

After coming here the last 10+ years I’m sad to say we will never return again because of horrible customer service. We had reserved a private room but due to snowy roads 2 people couldn’t make it. They kicked us out of the room and tried to sit us at a table too small for our party saying they couldn’t give us a bigger table due to reservations (we had a reservation) even though the private room would remain empty. The manager (name maybe Kevin) was rude and unhelpful… we left and went somewhere else to eat but after such a bad interaction it ruined our evening:(…

The food was phenomenal and the service was great! The tuna sashimi was the best I’ve had in a very long time. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone!
