Located in the former Macy’s building in the heart of downtown Atlanta at the iconic 200 Peachtree St. address, Sweet Georgia’s Juke Joint brings to the city a place to relax while enjoying live entertainment and exceptional cuisine. A per person entertainment fee will be applied to your bill, this does not apply on Sunday's. Historically, juke joints originated in the rural outskirts of many southern towns to give African American communities a place to kick back and unwind after a long week of work. The food and the ambience was amazing. The music was wonderful. This was my first time going to this restaurant and I would definitely go back again. The only thing that you should be aware of is that because of the live music it can be pretty loud so if you’re there on a date or want something more intimate where you can talk and easily hear each other this would not be the place for that.

Good place for food, drinks, and music. A few notes. Gumbo could have been hotter, not spicy hot, but temperature. Moonshine drinks are sneaky..so good and refreshing you have 3 before you know it. Credit card only, which is wrong. Cash is legal tender for all transactions. Flavor of food was delicious and bonus points for being able to swap out sides.

The food, service, ambience, and entertainment by One Nation Express was outstanding. Haven’t been to Sweet Georgia’s Jukebox Joint since before pandemic. We will definitely be back soon.

If you are looking for some great southern comfort food, this is the place. We have the Pot Roast and Catfish Bites - plenty for 2 people to share. There was a live band that night which is the reason for the "mid level" noise rating. What I loved about it was the music was not too loud - conversations could still happen without yelling at each other.

Great dishes… smothered pork chop, wings, bacon wrapped shrimp , catfish fingers, Mac n cheese. Service was great and very friendly. Slow night so perfect to see and hear band- which is great!!! And well worth the $5 gratuities added to bill.
