We had a great meal at Sweet Tea and Barley. We are local and try to get in every other week. Food portions are great, lovely atmosphere and waitstaff. My husband loves the burgers and I go for the BBQ! Yum. Can be a bit noisy eating in the bar area on weekends, so we ask for the Garden Room. A lot quieter there.

Delicious food. Great atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Only downside was there were several events going on at the Lodge so there was no parking or valet service. Even with a reservation, we had to park several blocks away and walk back. Appeared to only be one waitress working taking orders in the Lounge area so service was mediocre. But in her defense it was very busy.

The hotel restaurant is a comfortable and nice looking space. The drink, meal, and dessert menu is fun and varied and the full service bar will accommodate changes and wants to the drinks. The staff is really kind and works very hard. I beg of others to have some compassion and patience as we should always be grateful to the employees who showed up in these times. I got the fried chicken thigh which was served with honey in a giant biscuit and it was Devine. I am already craving another one!
