   This venue never fails to deliver fantastic food, a great wine list, an excellent service in an adorable and intimate atmosphere. This is always been one of my go to secret places in Washington.

   The ambiance is top notch. The Inn is cozy, and very period. The bartenders were cheerful and swift to serve, as was the wait-staff. The food exceeded expectations. For those with a cane, there are steps and staircases to navigate to the restrooms. I'll take guests there anytime!

   It’s been at least 30 years since I have eaten at the Tabard. Just wonderful and nostalgic. It is truly a unique spot in downtown DC. So worth going to!!!

   All the dishes save the pancakes were delicious with the French Toast and Shrimp and Grits outstanding. The service was excellent, attentive but not intrusive. All the staff were most accommodating and patient with our group of six. The cost was more than reasonable given the six people. We always have an excellent experience at the Tabard Inn.

   Really wonderful service by waiters and the hostess. Felt welcomed right from the beginning and to the end the food at brunch was great and I would totally go back.

   This was my first time so this review is a result of one visit only. Ambiance is eclectic, “warm”, and cozy - loved it! Food was average, good, but nothing special. Wait staff was polite. It was quite warm in the restaurant. So much so they opened a window to the courtyard. At that point the temperature was more comfortable. The room we were seated in was quite loud. We had to elevate our own voices just to be able to hear one another at the table. We may go back to give it another try. We haven’t decided yet

   The food was delicious. But the ambiance was out of this world! I can't wait to return for another meal, to check out the art, maybe to spend a night in the Inn? What a place!

    This is such a cute place, great atmosphere, and wonderful staff. Maybe it was an off night in the kitchen, and while the dishes were fine (although the frisee salad and duck confit were definitely oversalted), none of the food items had me wanting more. I’d come back for the cocktails and the cozy lounge, but would look elsewhere to wow my tastebuds.
