From the moment we arrived until we said goodbye, our experience was top notch. We were celebrating our anniversary and upon our arrival, we received a hand written card from the staff. Chef Scott came out and spoke with us as well as the manager - both were sincerely kind and attentive and helped make the evening, along with our server, the best experience. Every course of our entire dining experience was flavorful, thoughtful, and innovative. Their lobster toast starter was a new item which we hope they add to the menu full time. We shared a wedge salad, the dry aged meatloaf (not your mother's meatloaf by any stretch of the imagination) along with the greens. These greens, a family secret recipe, were the best we have ever had. The dessert was also a family recipe and was a perfect end to the evening. Needless to say, this is going to be a place to go back to again and again!! Don't be fooled that it is located in a hotel- the hotel is lovely and the ambiance of the restaurant made for the most wonderful of evenings!

Great cocktails. The Brussels were delicious, but a bit over sauced. The Caesar was outstanding, however, extremely over priced for the portion served. Lamb shank was tender and burgers were exactly what my husband went there to enjoy! It took our waiter a minute to warm up to our table.

As always, Table 28 did not disappoint. Unique, flavorful dishes and perfect service in a calm, quiet makes the perfect date night with the wife.

Service and food excellent. The diner enjoys an experience within a first class, sophisticated environment. We would have appreciated a slightly larger table, as we felt like we were relegated to the children’s corner. Luckily for us the group seated at the only larger table in the room welcomed us into their conversation and we thoroughly enjoyed each other’s company. We look forward to returning very soon. There was one waiter for the entire back room. He did his best,but needed more help. I ordered my salad with no dressing. It came with dressing. The waiter did not offer to replace my salad, but did offer me a free dessert, which we did not want. No other offer was made. We wanted to try the lamb shanks, but it was a $50 entree, so we opted for the halibut which was delicious.

Dear Constance, We sincerely apologize for the mistake with your salad. We aim to pace our service well, but when guests arrive early, we prefer to seat them rather than have them wait. That said, we recognize the need for better timing and will work on improving. I stopped by your table and wish you had let me know before leaving—I would have been happy to make it right. Enjoyed the interesting menu choices. Adam, our waiter, provided outstanding service. He paid attention to details, anticipated needs, responded well to questions and set a great tone for our dinner.
