   We enjoyed brunch at Talula's Garden just before the holidays. We each tried one of the specialty cocktails and they were very good. We shared a starter, French toast sticks, which was delicious and a sweet start to our meal. Our entrees were equally delicious and arrived quickly. The service was charming and attentive without being intrusive. We look forward to returning.

   We love this restaurant. The food is imaginative but not too trendy, and always delicious and memorable. Service is always on point. This visit was a little different. First because of an error - and I honestly don't know if it was theirs or ours, our reservation was made for two when we were a party of four. As a result, our only option was an outside table. It was freezing outside but we were assured that it was very cozy. It really isn't. By the time we finished our meal, my feet were like blocks of ice and we had our coats zipped up around our legs. It did put a damper on the experience. Secondly, we had a loud and drunken table next to us. They became aggressive at one point. Wait staff must have called for the manager, who appeared and was appropriately responsive and apologetic but it was still a shame, although no one's fault. They comped us a couple of sides dishes and some little sweets at the end. The service was on the slower side. We had trouble getting water refills and our empty plates sat on the table for a long time. But we still love it and will return, but never outside in the winter again.

   Consistently outstanding food and service. It’s remarkable service was so exquisite for a 7pm Saturday before Christmas and a full restaurant reservation. Waiter Kenny and manager Derek ensured our anniversary was a perfect evening. The beet salad and mushroom ravioli were outstanding.

   Phenomenal food and combinations of different flavors. Great spot to stop by while in Philadelphia or looking for a night out. Servers make the experience and we were lucky as our server was great with good recommendations.

   It’s was a good experience. The tables were a little bit too close together to maintain privacy. Our waiter, Kenny was awesome and very attentive.

    We had an early reservation (5pm) and the place was quiet and fairly empty. The tables were close to each other but that was okay for an early reservation. The menu was varied and not overly large, but with enough choices as to suit just about everyone's tastes. The food portions were good and very rich, so you may only want to split an appetizer or a side. I highly recommend the short rib entre or the seared scallops and shrimp entre. Please note that your tab will grow quickly as the prices are a bit steep, but worth every penny. The wait staff was awesome. Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and spoke freely about what his favorites were. He also emphasized that all entries were made fresh and there were no bad choices. The only downside was that the noise lever increased as the restaurant became more full, but that was to be expected. I highly recommend Talula's if you want a special place to treat yourself to a fine meal.
