At Taste, origin matters. We first source our ingredients within a 200 mile radius, giving preference to Michigan vendors. This allows us to bring fresh, high quality components into the kitchen and to develop relationships with local farmers. We source our seafood direct-from-dock and rotate these selections based on quality and availability.

We are passionate about our food and our service. Our menu reflects the season and showcases our chef's ambition to build creative yet accessible dishes.

The perfect bite paired with the perfect sip can truly elevate any meal. We have carefully curated our wine list to accompany our cuisine. Taste's signature craft cocktail menu represents our ever expanding spirit selection and our dedication to using the freshest ingredients even in our drinks.

Went for husbands bday. Food was yummy as we split 3 apps and 2 dishes. We had a lot of food left over. Will go again- Loved!!

We love Taste. And were disappointed in the menu change. We anticipated having the mussels, grilled salmon and monkfish, risotto appetizer. They have changed to a tapas style menu with many cold or warm, not hot, items. Odd to start in January. Everything was well prepared as can be expected from Taste yet not the full flavor we were accustomed to. Definitely healthy fare. Atmosphere and service remains top notch.

The space can feel cramped on a busy night but it was a tad slow and made for perfect ambiance. The food is always incredible and I appreciate that the menu is updated frequently. The chef brings a really nice Vietnamese flair to the dishes. The broth with the mussels was SO good that we asked them to save it for us, which they happily did and sent some extra bread for dipping once we got home. Apparently this is a common request! Wife went with cod and I had the soft shell crab. The flavors accompanying the cod were strong enough to hold up against a red wine (Malbec, in this case) as the wife prefers reds but it can get tough to pair with lighter seafood. Server was the perfect amount of personable while giving us space to enjoy. Will make a point to come back soon!

Amazing experience, celebrating our anniversary! From the food, to the cocktails to the service, all exceeded expectations. Parking garage nearby, but note that part of it was very tight fit for our Standard SUV.

Usually an excellent experience, this time was very disappointing. Limited entree menu (favorite scallop dish not on the menu), filet mignon was pathetic - thin, covered in gravy! Incredibly disappointing for the price. Probably should’ve sent it back. Service slow and inattentive, although they were very busy with a full restaurant and the wait staff was stretched. We went there to celebrate my birthday, won’t do that again!

Great service. Food not quite as good as we recalled. Calamari excellent but some of the salad it was presented on was frozen. Sushi grade scallops were wonderful. Menu needs a revamp from the COVID pull back. At one point they were the best restaurant in town. Would like to see them bring back Chilean Sea Bass.
