   Very average - nothing special about the food. Location is great though.

   Always a first rate experience. A beautiful restaurant with excellent service and delicious food. You can’t come to nyc and skip this place.

   I cannot begin to describe how disappointed I was with our dinner last night. I had the scallops and they were cold and the risotto tasted like it was from a box with zero flavor. My husband had the 28-day aged ribeye and was tough, undercooked, and flavorless. Our daughter had chicken tenders and although they too were likely Sysco brand, they were probably the best part of the meal. Even the lemon crème brûlée was cold. I’ve wanted to come here for years and the ambience was what I expected but the food was horrible. Very disappointed.

   The hostess was kind and friendly. Our waitress was wonderful and attentive. Definitely the best french toast anywhere! The french onion soup was fantastic as well! Delicious drinks and a wonderful time in a magical restaurant!

   It was our first time eating at Tavern on the Green and we LOVED our experience. Our waitress was great, the food was fantastic, and the 80’s music they had playing made for a perfect ambiance. 10/10 would recommend!
