Everything was great! Great food, great service, great ambience. The biggest complaint was that the cost of the bill was WAY HIGHER than I thought it was going to be since it turns out that what we ordered was way more food than we realized & needed & so the bill was way too high. As well, we are from Canada so the cost of everything is already 1.5 X as much as everyone else so I think it might have been helpful if our waiter who was otherwise excellent had advised us not to order what we ordered & recommended alternatives.

Last year, outside table. Very nice. This year inside table. Music ridiculously loud. Could not communicate with the person across the table. Made for a poor dining experience. Our food was overall quite good with exception of Saganaki hot meze appetizer. Usually brought as a flaming fresh dish, it was brought overcooked, not fresh and the amount of cheese was absurdly small. Overall, take a pass.

Great place to eat. Food was excellent and also great service. This isn’t the place to go if you want a quiet dinner. It’s very fun with belly dancers on the tables periodically. Great view of the intercostal waterway. Advice to go early and make a reservation. It’s a very popular place!!

Amazing food! We had good service, but there was a bit of a wait at times - not sure there are enough servers. However, we sat on the deck and had the most beautiful view of the sunset … until this HUGE boat (yacht?!) pulled up right against where we were sitting. Lost our view and had this big black boat to look at for the remainder of the night. It definitely put a damper on what could have been a perfect night. But, the food was absolutely amazing.

Taverna Opa had always been one of my favorite places but yesterday’s experience was not the best. The table next to ours was a table of 4, but They seated 5 instead. Super tight and trays were almost passing over our head. Again; wasn’t the best experience; host wasn’t really helpful, Having an experience like this after the 10+ visits is just sad. The dessert was not fresh, there was a weird smell in kadaifi; we mentioned to the server, no actions.the host seated some 2 tops by the water… which wasn’t fair either. A little disappointment is all I can say

We were sitting outside which maybe was a reason that food arrived as luke warm not hot. I had fillet mignon which wasn’t bad but not hot, just warm, the remaining portion of meal, potato and asparagus were just cold. The seabass my husband had was on the top of spinach floating in olive, which made it uneadible. The meal was also not hot but almost cold. Probably it was our mistake that in Greek restaurant we ordered not Greek food. We may try it again with Greek items from the menu. The staff very nice. Good location and nice atmosphere.

Highly recommend for casual and fun night out. Best value I have seen in a long time. High quality seafood.
