Teatro, or ‘theatre’ in Italian, pays homage to our restaurants location in the Calgary arts and theatre district. Celebrating 25 years in 2018, Teatro has been serving contemporary Italian cuisine in a fine dining atmosphere. Housed in the historic Dominion Bank (est.1911), our award winning wine cellar hosts over 10,000 bottles and features 1100 labels, with a focus on the fine wines of Italy and Bordeaux. Enjoy artisanal cocktails at our stylish bar, reserve a table for your next business meeting, or indulge in a 5 course Chef's Tasting Menu . We also offer both private and semi-private dining options for large groups.

    We are excited to welcome alumni chef Daniel Pizarro back to Teatro ! Chef Daniel (now of Murrieta’s Group) will be working with Camilo to explore their Chilean heritage through food, featuring dishes from their childhood, paired alongside one of the iconic wine estates of Chile; Montes. Your ticket includes cocktail hour at 6pm, followed by a 3 course dinner served family style with pairings from Montes, including their illustrious Purple Angel, by many considered the finest Carmenere in the world.

    Features were outstanding. Menu was amazing with excellent items to choose from. High quality food and open kitchen was a nice touch. The open fire left amazing char to the meats served, what a treat!

    Made a reservation….. early dinner and the place was empty. A 4 top, nothing unusual. Sat next to the washroom! Really?

    From start to finish, a beautiful experience. Food was exception, you couldn't beat the ambience, and the service was impeccable. Definitely worth a return visit!

    The food was delicious and creative. The staff were so friendly, accommodating and attentive. It was really cool eating in an old bank building. Really liked the open concept where the chefs were prepping and plating. Awesome experience.
