   Such an amazing time at The Terrace Room. Beautifully decorated hotel for a Colonial Christmas. The HolidayBrunch was exceptional. You are not leaving hungry and the price is worth every course. The piece de resistance is the Dessert. So make sure to save room. We will definitely make this a seasonal Christmas tradition!

   The Williamsburg Inn at Christmas is beautiful. The meal was outstanding. Super waiter who was very helpful and a great evening by everyone. Thank you very much and a very Merry Christmas to all

   The ambiance was lovely. However, the service from our server did not reflect the elegance of the Inn. Service was rushed throughout the meal. There were multiple attempts to clear plates before we were finished. The wait staff is in need of additional training. The wine service was poor. Upon attempting to open the bottle, the cork was pulled apart and the bottle had to be taken away to have the cork fragments removed. The noise level was high enough at time's from the adjacent bar to interrupt conversation at the table. When we go back, we will sit as far from the bas as possible and request another server.

   A beautiful atmosphere in an iconic setting. On a recent visit we went twice. Once for breakfast in the terrace room and a second time for dinner. From being greeted by our names to arranging a special birthday surprise for my husband, we were treated very well. The food on both occasions was exceptional. It’s a bit pricey but as the saying goes, you get what you paid for. Definitely a special occasion venue.

   For an expensive dinner in a high end inn, we were looking forward to our final night out to be memorable, however it ended up being a joke. We booked dinner in the Terrace Room, but ended up getting seated in the room next door, even though there were multiple tables in the Terrace Room available. (We didn’t realize it wasn’t the main room until later… first time visit.) when we were seated in an almost empty room, we asked if we could get a different seat since we were seated in the doorway. They informed us this is where we needed to be seated due to the waiter assigned. (Literally three tables full and 15 tables open at 8pm.) Right next to us was the storage cabinet for all the silverware, plates, glasses, etc. As the three tables in the room left, for our entire dinner, multiple servers swooped around us getting silverware, reloading dishes, setting tables. People stood behind me for minutes at a time clanking dishes and banging silverware in an entirely empty room, like we were not even there. We gave a look to our waiter who asked the man to stop, which he just ignored. Basically a “I’m off my shift as soon as tables are set so I don’t care what these customers think.” Also, the restaurant manager had a conversation with three workers in full voice in the room as if we weren’t there. While our waiter was great and the food was good, I can honestly say I’ve never experienced a lack of consideration like this in a higher end restaurant. We won’t be going back.

   The meal was excellent! The turkey was the best we’ve ever had. We plan to make it again next year! Thank you so much for making our Thanksgiving so memorable.
