   Delicious food and friendly service. The burger was good but not great. The roasted broccoli was fantastic though. My husband had the artic char in a white bean broth which he enjoyed with roasted beets.

   It was a most fabulous evening! Our server Matt was absolutely the best!!! To start he recommended a very lovely Canadian sparkling wine from BC. I’m partial to Italian Prosecco but I have to say, this was fantastic! He made great food recommendations and accommodated a gluten allergy too! We had the crab dip and the escargots to start…yum! We had the bison bolognese, the bison shortrib and the fried chicken… all of them were wonderful!! Would definitely come back!!

   Excellent food. Especially recommend the crispy fried chicken. Service was impeccable as well.

   This is our 5th visit over the course of 11 years. We keep coming back every time we visit Banff because The Bison never disappoints. We thoroughly enjoyed the tomahawk steak dinner, and although the bison was fabulous, the incredibly flavorful (savory) yams turned out to be the surprise star of the meal. Cocktails were made with care, and the BC Syrah paired nicely with our meal. Thank you again!!!

   Best food in town without question. The live music was a great addition as well. Please do not let my unique experience influence your booking, I will absolutely eat here again. There was a simple mistake with our mains not entered, and management refused to acknowledge. Wasn’t bothered until management did not seem to care. While simultaneously maintaining overboard service for the ex employee seated next to us. Another note for consideration, bartenders were forced to maintain tables outside of the bar while providing all of the drinks for the restaurant, which seemed utterly unsustainable. Management, please take note.

   Duck was dried. Restaurant reduced the price, however. Steak frites at $75 a little bit over the top. Service impeccable. Very nice ambiance.

   Our table for 2 by the window had beautiful views. The delicious food was made primarily with local Alberta/BC ingredients and was sooo tasty. The service was excellent, friendly and professional. We have eaten at most restaurants in Banff which has some top notch restaurants and feel this meal was one of our best! It’s not cheap, but you get what you pay for and it is a reasonable price for the quality of food and service.

    Excellent food , especially the bison tomahawk, wow. All cocktails and appetizers were also amazing. Our servers chris and gyan (french canadian guy) were amazing. definitely one of the best places around.
