Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     I took a good friend for her birthday. They had the table set up with happy birthday glitter on the table and a lovely birthday card from the staff. Everyone on the staff greeted her with a smiling Happy Birthday. Our food was all prepared and delivered to perfection. At the end our waiter presented her with a delicious birthday dessert platter. It was a perfect evening!

    The restaurant was beautiful and the service by Richard or Robert.. not sure was amazing! The brussel sprouts and the cheesecake were extradanariy. We split the NY Strip steak was a tad disappointing in terms of season, and flavor and texture. The bacon in the wedge salad was very hard to chew. This could have been a 5 with better steak, better seasoned steak and chewable bacon in the wedge salad. Would go back. Enjoyable evening

    10/10 Crabcake appetizer A+ Start with Shellfish tray ($65.00), enough for 3 people as an appetizer Steaks as usual were top notch as was the lamb

    For the price, the service was mediocre at best. The main course showed up while finishing salads and had to be sent back to the kitchen to stay warm. Needed to ask twice to get more water. The restaurant inside is quite noisy too.

    I had the Porcini-Rubbed Bone-In Ribeye which I’ve had many times at Capital Grills around the country. That steak had always been great before, but expensive at $76. Last nights steak was bad, gristly and tough. I ate about a third of it, but it had many bites I couldn’t chew and swallow. The manager came by early on but left before I could say anything. I told the waiter and he said “tell me next time and I’ll make sure you get a good cut”. Seems he could have offered a free desert or something. My wife remarked they seemed in a hurry to turn the table in an hour. We’ve never felt rushed at a CG before.

    If you're willing to part with $100+ pp for dinner, the Capital Grille delivers. Excellent service, well-made dishes, no questions asked attitude if you have a question or concern. It is a very lively space; conversation may be a challenge on a weekend night. More than made up for the by quality and consistency.

    Shared a great salad & non- briny blue point oysters. Steak prepared perfectly, while I like to avoid the carbs of bread, theirs was way too good to resist. Excellent service. This is where we go for some of our finest dinners in Fort Lauderdale.
