Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     The Capital Grille is mine and my husbands favorite! The ambience is cozy and comfortable. Mainly, we keep coming back for the incredible food and service!! Highly recommend the filet with the porcini-rub & balsamic glaze!! Incredible!!!

    Honestly I’m sorry this was pretty bad. I was taking my son to a show downtown and wanted to treat him to a great dinner beforehand. I made the OpenTable reservation and it ended up being in the bar area. I did not know it was right at the bar. My son and I got so crowded in at our table. People were leaning on and hanging around our table. It was so uncomfortable and noisy. Food was really not that great either. Was far from the great dining experience I thought my son and I would experience.

    Met my girls for a holiday dinner celebration. The food was spectacular! Cassidy was an outstanding server! My favorite steak restaurant in Pittsburgh!

    From the moment I stepped foot into Capital Grille, I was welcomed by a lovely hostess who greeted me by name and made me feel at home. My friend and I always ask to be seated at Rebecca's station. She is professional, knowledgeable about the specials, and makes us feel appreciated. The food is excellent as always that is why we dine at Capital Grille several times throughout the year. It is truly a treat and a gastronomic delight.

    First time dining at the Capital Grille. The service (Carlo) exceeded expectations. He was the best!! The food was amazing as was the ambiance. We will be back for sure!!!

    We really enjoyed our experience at the capital Grille. We were celebrating my son‘s graduation from the University of Pittsburgh. This staff celebrated with us and made our experience and meal wonderful

    We had a great meal! 2 of our steaks were not cooked as ordered and the manager took them back and the next one came out to perfection! He took them off of our bill which was very generous! Our server Cruz did an excellent job!!

    It was very busy on Saturday night, so the noise level was high but not unbearable. Michael and the team of service were outstanding. Appetizers were all great, calamari, bacon, and wrapped mozzarella. Steaks were good. Roasted chicken was overcooked, and risotto was undercooked unfortunately. Two crème brûlée’s, one was perfect and the other was overtorched. It was a good experience overall.
