   A bit disappointing to be honest turned up and it was a set menu there was no mention of this when booking. I had a roast and all the vegetables were a bit under done the parsnips were hard the beef was over cooked and the cauliflower cheese was just a watery cheese sauce not real cheese and no colour to it.

   Staff friendly and service was good. Had the Mothers Day set menu. Starters and mains was very good. I chose the apple and berries crumble for pudding. This was very disappointing as it was a pastry tart with only crumble sprinklings. Had I known would have chosen something different.

   great service, very good sized portions. Good solid British food done well.....nothing fancy! We were made to feel welcome even though it was a busy Friday night. Will go back.

   Just a couple of little complaints went for a meal on 25/03/2025 for my wife’s birthday with the kids we found the chips quite crunchy and the coleslaw very watery my wife did t really eat the chips because of the crunchiness normally when we have been in the past it’s been very good the service was first class just the food was a bit disappointing ☹️

   Lovely food, good portion size, friendly, helpful staff didn’t have to wait long for our food to arrive. We have been several times & have always enjoyed the food. Only thing that I would like is if they did chicken in the roast menu for Sundays but overall it’s always a pleasant experience I will definitely be going back

   Everything was amazing as always - we love it there - so kid friendly. Food this time was a little over done - so the kids didn’t eat much of their breaded chicken bits or chicken burger - but the veg always gets eaten and the adult pies were great. The service is friendly and always have time for you and your little ones’ needs. Another visit and another happy family visit.

   A lovely catch up with friends overlooking the sea. Food was great and so was the service. Vegetables cooked perfectly. Salmon was delicious.
