The Carlile Room, ideally located across from the Paramount Theater, shines for its "incredible service" and "outstanding food." Diners praise its diverse menu, featuring dishes like steak frites and shrimp scampi, alongside creative cocktails. We were celebrating our anniversary and were treated like royalty! Everyone we encountered was friendly and respectful. The food and drinks were delicious and the service was perfect- always there when we wanted them and no hovering. Altogether, couldn’t have been better! I highly recommend the Carlile Room!

Food was mediocre. Service too. Famous coconut pie had a thin crust that tasted of shortening. Will go elsewhere before a show.

The Carlile Room is one of my favorite Seattle restaurants. They not only have super tasty food (the baked cheese is my current favorite appetizer), and fun drinks but it is the people that make it so special. Ben, the manager, is the best in the business. Give it a try - you won’t be disappointed. It’s a winner!

The Carlile Room is the perfect place to eat before a show and so close to multiple theaters. Plus, the food and beverages are delicious! The fantastic things they do with veggies is genius at work, but they also have the carnivores completely covered from schnitzel chicken to Wagyu steak (with a hamburger to die for in between). We were a big party of 8 and they took care of us with aplomb.

Overall incredible experience as always. This is our go-to spot for before or after shows at the Paramount. Food was great. Drinks were incredible! I let the bartender Alicia create new rye drinks for me and each one was unique and so well balanced. Love this bar/restaurant!

I was a little disappointed where we were seated since we made a reservation so far in advance very crammed into a booth for the six of us. All of our food was good but my salmon and kale dish was extremely spicy and was not indicated so on the menu. We also asked for our check to be split and the waiter was unable to accommodate

This b place does well being right by The Paramount. They really play up the pre-show dinner ambience. We were there to see wicked and they had wicked themed cocktails and flying monkeys hanging from the ceiling. Very fun. As soon as we walked in, there was a very pungent odor in the air. We were told it was due to a melted cheese dish that they serve. It was NOT what you want to walk into. We were early for our reservation, but they seated us right away. I love the decor we did cocktails and my Jen martini was absolutely delicious. Service was fine. Drinks were a little slow to come from the bar. As for the food, I make better focaccia. It was dry and hard on top. Celery apple salad was fine. I think it had the same weird bits of cheese from the smell. So it was hard to eat. Roasted carrot and Farro salad with yogurt was delicious. Though personally I would’ve preferred it warm. They have no warm vegetable dishes, only salads. We shared the Wagyu beef and frites. $50 for four small squares of beef and some french fries. The horseradish cream sauce was divine. And in the end, two pieces of that beef and the fries and sauce each turned out to be just right. Two warm cookies to take with us to the show and we hit the road. Overall a decent dining experience.
