IN THE BEAUTIFUL GEORGIAN CITY OF BATH, Chequers has been the central meeting point for the community on River Street, Royal Crescent and Circus for countless years.

                                      The Sunday roast - advertised as the best in Bath certainly didn’t live up to the hype. I had the beef which was cooked med rare. The meal was just okay with an over cooked and stale Yorkshire pudding These could be seen in the kitchen piled up in tray having obviously been cooked some time before and not even warm. A mediocre experience at best aside from the desert special which was very good.

                                      One of the best meals out we’ve had in a long time. Delicious Sunday roast, really great efficient service and a lovely location. Can’t recommend enough.
