'The Crabtree, with its spectacular position downstream from The River Cafe,
has a huge sprawling garden, a glazed colonnade and frontage on to the
Thames shaded by a weeping willow. The prawns in chilli hot oil and the toast
spread with tomatoes and onions were good, so much so we ordered them
again when we returned for Sunday lunch. Sunday roasts with 'all the
trimming's' - we tried beef and pork - had everything a Sunday roast should
have. Somewhere rather spiffing to go' (Fay Machsler, Evening Standard)

    Amazing first experience at the Crabtree. Food was absolutely delicious, vibe was great and staff were super friendly. Totally recommend!

    Food was OK, burger lacked abit of flavour and although the vegan Wellington was nice the portion size was more like a sausage roll than a Wellington.

    Lovely pub with charming staff but very bland food. We known the menu well (from The Havelock) but here it isn’t so good. We had a lovely evening (although three screaming children initially were noisy!) but wouldn’t come for the food.

    We haven’t eaten here for some time but happy to report food, service and ambience all still excellent! Plenty of attentive staff on hand to ensure all was well and that our table lacked none of the essential extras, sauces, extra gravy etc. Delicious food to share and good value accompanying wines. Thank you!

    Nous avons déjeuner au Crabtree un dimanche midi Le service a été un peu long suite à un problème de cuisson de gibier mais le personnel a été très sympa et a fait un geste sur l’addition Je recommande vivement

    Food was very good. Service was good too, the waitress was attentive and didn't bother us too much, which is what we prefer.

    Went for a birthday roast - lacked any sort of acknowledgement even though prior to booking had highlighted it. Felt rushed at the end of the meal to vacate the table before we had decided on a dessert as were told they needed the table - when it wasn’t that busy.

If you would like to extend your turn time, please request this in advance of your booking. We were fully booked on Sunday, so we apologise you could not have your table for longer.
