Featuring local "farm to table" cuisine using a breadth of farmers in the Missouri and Illinois communities. When asked to define of The Crossing, Owner/Executive Chef Jim Fiala often says that he is a chef that buys locally whenever possible and cooks as any French and/or Italian chef would given the ingredients sourced. Joining Jim is Chef Thu Rein Oo who brings passion and years of experience to the kitchen. Our food is fresh, organic (whenever possible), seasonal and by design very simple. The Crossing stays true to classic techniques and the chefs love showing off their skills and passion for elegant food.

    As usual it was excellent from amuse bouche to dessert… did the 4 course tasting and was just outstanding…had a great escargot appetizer and the skate was superb.. Service great as always (thank you Sonny) It’s one of the very top restaurants in St Louis

    Celebrated our anniversary at the Crossing again - greeted with a special card on our table. Cheese souffle starter always great as was our Maryland Crabcake appetizer. Walleye and Corvina fish entrees were excellent and prepared perfectly. Brut Rose bubbles, a nice Chassagne-Montrachet with dessert beignets and port to round out abother perfect meal. Will definitely be back!

    We had a wonderful lunch at The Crossing. The pasta was excellent, perfect texture, lovely flavor. The trout was perfectly prepared, crisp skin, light lemon butter sauce. The wines by the glass program is excellent, with very well chosen, affordable wines. The best part of our experience was our server, who is also the manager.
