The food was great! My husband ordered the duck stew and LOVED it! I ordered the linguini pesto with chicken and it was great! Loved the restaurant as a whole and the atmosphere. We will definitely return in the future!

Besides dining here off and on, we have been coming annually for St. Patrick’s day to have their traditional special corned beef and cabbage, along with Guinness!! Maybe because this was a Monday, the live entertainment was not as energetic as years past but we still enjoyed the evening!

Charming, small historic bar and restaurant, with excellent service. Highly recommend the salmon caprese.

The food and service were great, a busy Sunday didn’t phase the staff.

We have been looking forward to having dinner here but were disappointed. Our dinners were ok. My husband’s fish and chips were good. My duck in stew with dumplings was not as flavorful as one would expect and the dumplings were more like croutons. The tiramisu was dry and flavorless—not a hint of espresso. For the prices, we expected at least a little better.

We sat on the patio and entertained out of town guests. There was no music so it was nice and quiet. The food was delicious. My friend said the ribs were the best he had ever eaten! We’ll be back.

Having frequented the Cup Café for over 40 years, it’s very disappointing to say that the quality of their food is disappointing now, and the prices are absurd. We had a spinach salad that was truly underwhelming. Also the brownie we had for dessert tasted like something you could make out of a box. We didn’t even finish it. All said and done, we had one spinach salad, 2 cups of Mexican coffee, and a brownie with one scoop of ice cream. The price spent was over $50. Not worth it. The cup Café has by far the best ambience of any establishment on Congress downtown. You just have to be ready to spend a ton of money on food that is not worth the price.

I wanted to love this place but the food fell short for me. Ordered soup and the bread appetizer hoping that $13 for some warm toasty bread would be worth the price. It was not warm and the toppings were tasteless. Soup was soso. I may try again sometime but it made me sad.
