Cozy rooms and intimate bars create a storied, Old World aura, while updated seasonal takes on British food make up the menu. In keeping with tradition, our casks and tap craft beers are always rotating and classic family-style roasts are served on Sundays.

The restaurant is busy and upon entering, patrons must move to another room to speak with the hostess. This creates a log jam in the pub area. They try to mitigate the cold weather with 2 doors and a velvet curtain, but it's impossible to stop the current each time the door is opened. If it's cold outside, be sure to sit in the upstairs portion. The burgers were ample but overcooked. The mac and cheese was more cheese than noodle, leaving a soupy feel to the pan. If I go again, I'll stick with British classics, which may fare better. The ambiance is very close to an upscale British pub. It was packed at 6:00 on a Saturday. It was my daughter's birthday, which was noted on the reservation, but no aknowledgement of it from the staff. So why bother to ask when reserving? The wait staff seemed intent on getting us out within an hour. And that rush was felt by us both. I've had better experiences at other Steven Starr restaurants.

Good food and GREAT atmosphere. We were so excited to get the bay window seat. Server was efficient and attentive without being over bearing. Everyone loved their meals. Unfortunately, we were too full to try out the desserts. Great way to get the full Philly experience.

Went before the orchestra for some drinks and a light dinner. Service was great, food was perfect, and ambiance was exactly the vibe I was after. The price of things was a bit high, which is to be expected in center city, but i was caught alittle off guard since we didn’t order the moon.

It was our first dinner there. I loved the Soup! The bangers and mash were not as we’ve had them in the UK, but they were tasty. Sausage was a bit coarse. No Colman’s mustard! My daughter loved the trout; my grandson didn’t love his burger and fries. Everyone loved the Eton Mess!

Charming re-creation of an English Pub. English Pub food has gotten much better than it once was, and The Dandelion's food was excellent. From the Dandelion salad to the Root vegetable soup to the Rabbit Pie, all excellent. Our server (I regret I've forgotten her name) was perfect - friendly, efficient, professional. Only negative (for us) was the noise level - we ate upstairs during the lunch rush, and it was busy and noisy with energetic conversations with several tables of 6 or so surrounding us, which of course has pros and cons. But still highly recommended. We did not inquire if a quieter table was available - I think it may have been.

We love The Dandelion! It's a little noisy, but we were sitting in the pub area.

Wonderful service and tasty food, a little noisy during peak lunch hours but it adds to the cozy atmosphere! I appreciated the variety of gluten free options and care towards allergies
