   Came here to catch up with a few girlfriends. First time going to a gastropub so we didn’t have any expectations. More on the casual side and relaxing hang out area. I ordered the fish and chips which I found to be great. The fish was fried to perfection and tasted amazing with the sauce. Unfortunately the fries did not match up to par and tasted slightly burnt. For 27$ I feel the portion were on the smaller side, if the fries were made better I could say the flavor justifies the pricing. I also tried some of my friend’s lamb shepard pie. For my personal preference I felt the lamb was too gamey for pie and for $21 the portion was really small for it to not come with any sides. Overall not a bad place if you’re already out and looking for eats without a wait however, there are definitely better options in the area if you’re looking to try something new.

   I have been looking to try this place for years and ended up here on a whim trying to find a late night dinner reservation after other kitchens in the area had closed.The food was absolutely amazing. Great service! Order the server’s recommendations! Loved the Victorian/abolition style decor!

   The restaurant is not handicapped accessible. I walk with a cane and had to manage with difficulty going up and down the stairs because the host stand is on the 2nd floor. The host had an attitude because she had to wait for me to navigate my way back downstairs. I can’t imagine trying to to go there with a wheelchair or walker. It was very busy, so I forgave the waits for service because our server seemed to be working by himself handling indoor and outdoor tables. My iced Irish coffee was very good, and so was my cider. Not sure about the amount of alcohol in them, but they tasted good. I had the Welsh Rarebit, the fish and chips, and tasted the sticky toffee pudding. My friends had the deviled eggs, the Dandy Burger and the Dandelion Salad, which they said was tasty. My food tasted good, but nothing came out hot. The Welsh Rarebit did need to be toasted a little longer. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was good enough for me to order one to take home. I did also takeout an order of the petite sweets for my daughter. The acoustics and noise level made it difficult for us to hear each other and the servers. The tables are too close together, which made it hard for me to get into my seat at the table. And we were constantly being bumped into by the constant stream of people coming in and having to walk up and down the stairs. While the food might deserve a repeat visit. I would never eat there again because of the restaurant not being handicapped accessible.

   Food is very good and there are many choices. Server was helpful and prompt. The room we were in was too loud. We prefer Dog Bar or downstairs Pub but we could not get those tables.

   Nathan was an AMAZING server! Really cared about making our experience a good one and made sure my vegan diet was accommodated (including cross contamination). Amazing food, lol I was super full but I kept on eating because it tasted so good. Great experience overall!

   Its one of the oldest buildings in the city. The food and atmosphere are great. We had wonderful time.
