   During our visit, the service felt noticeably rushed, which took away from the overall experience. We understand that busy times can lead to unexpected challenges, but for a restaurant of this caliber, we expected a little more preparation to handle the rush. The hurried service made us feel somewhat overlooked, leaving us wanting more attentive care throughout our meal. Additionally, it was disappointing that our birthday celebration went unacknowledged. Recognizing special occasions can make a dining experience feel even more memorable, and this oversight added to the feeling of being undervalued. Despite these hiccups, everything else was fine. The ambiance was pleasant, and the food was enjoyable, which gives us hope for a better experience on our next visit. With some improvements in service and a greater focus on special moments, The Fly Trap could truly shine as a top-tier dining destination.

   We came as a group of 9 and ordered a variety of small and large plates, plus drinks and dessert. Every single bite was absolutely delicious. The place is such a vibe. Highly recommend.

   First time at Flt Trap, we wanted to try and be of the oldest restaurants in San Francisco and it didn't disappoint.

   Online I thought this looked like a bar that served food, but it is a nice restaurant with a bar that is welcoming and friendly. Great attention from our server and wait staff without being overbearing. Food was good nice presentation, balance of flavors and good variety of menu options. We had tasty cocktails and the decor was charming.

   Found ourselves looking for a dinner spot after SF Playhouse. And we’d had Fly Trap on our radar for a while. Timing is everything. A quick 7 min drive away is this lovely spot. Warm and inviting interior, friendly & attentive staff. The food was excellent. Order the Risotto—heaven in a bowl. We’ll come back and enjoy the charming outdoor space. Bring friends, this place is a treasure.

    Great food, great service, a perfect spot for dinner in a quaint but sophisticated back-in-time vibe with good eats! We expected it to be a bit more boisterous and bar-style energy here but it was quiet and low ambience (in the best way)
