I was disappointed with my recent experience at Ivy Market Grill. The restaurant was crowded and under staffed. Food came out promptly and was well prepared but it was warm and tasted as if it was sitting in the kitchen. Restaurant would serve itself better by not cramming in so many patrons and bring back the enjoyable dining experience the Ivy is known for.

Absolutely amazing! Food was lovely can't fault anything at all. Great value too! Plus with it being my birthday got a free dessert, which they didn't have to do but it makes you feel more special!

I was a bit of a fussy guest! I didn’t like the first table I was offered and asked for a better one which I got ( my only complaint about the whole experience is that my friend and I shouldn’t have been seated next to a group of men spilling over into our space in the first place) After moving everything was perfect. I had booked using the wrong offer code but the manager and staff couldn’t have been more helpful in changing my booking around to honour the half price bottle of wine offer. Alex our waiter was lovely and attentive, as was everyone else we came into contact with. The 1917 menu was great value, and the signature shepherds pie one of the best I’ve tasted. Alex’s endorsement of the quality of the red wine gravy was spot on! Thank you.

Venue is nice to look at. A lot of new service staff being trained on the floor and the stress on the experienced staff was apparent. From where we sitting we could one of them admonishing their new colleague. Further food was underwhelming, dry chicken, flavourless fish and lacking seasoning portion of Shepherd’s Pie which was on the small side, so wonder if it was the same staffing situation in the kitchen as on the floor. Wine list was not good value either.
