Immerse yourself in the magic of the season with our Festive Set Menu. Enjoy two courses for £55 or three for £60 and delight in our show-stopping festive dishes, selection of fine wines and seasonal cocktails. Tables of 7+ must book our Group Festive Set Menu experience. Guests dining on our Festive set menu can choose between two or three courses for lunch, available from 11:30am - 6:30pm. It was my second time visiting the Ivy Market Grill in less than two months. Last time was in September when I was on a layover to Africa and last night was for a layover on my way back home to Miami. The food is amazing and the ambience is great! It was fun to see all the Christmas decorations. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a charming Covenant Garden experience.

Waiter was friendly . We ordered bread & olives which did take a while to arrive . The olives were a dissapapointment . 6 olives ! There were 4 of us . Bread was warm& tasty . Asked for more butter, then asked someone else as it didn’t arrive ., 3 out of the 4 mains , all beef roast dinners arrived . Mine came about 10 minutes later, the veg was replaced as it had gone cold .. I don’t understand what the delay was as we all ordered the same. I appreciate it was very busy & 3 weeks before Christmas every one is out ., Overall we enjoyed our meal but it wasn’t the experience we were hoping for from the Ivy & the reason we were out was to celebrate our birthday with close friends who had kindly brought us a voucher to enjoy .

Generally a great experience. They need to relook at the outside seating area when the weather is bad. Food was outstanding as always.

I’ve always loved this place, but the last two times, it’s been less than perfect, and let’s face it, when you go to The Ivy, that’s your expectation. They got my order wrong. Result was my wife ate alone and I ate my side while I was waiting for the correct order. Apart from a brief “apologies for that” from the server (who wasn’t the one who took my order), there was no acknowledgement of the error or disappointment in the experience from anyone. Just mechanical “was everything ok?” when taking payment and a complete blank when I said “yes thanks, apart from getting my order wrong”. If you’re going to ask, listen to the answer. I’ve been going here years, and it’s such a shame to see the standards have fallen so far. The facade is there but the soul is gone I’m afraid. Doubt we’ll be back.

Not impressed when first arrived, booked over 8 weeks in advance and shown to table behind pillar and next door to toilet.(Was it because we were 2 women dining!) Plenty of empty tables in better positions. Asked to move and they did move us.

Expected more from the Ivy, booked in advance for my birthday but the staff attempted to seat me at a table near the bar which was in a tight spot. I asked for tea to be served with our brunch and the waitress wanted to bring g it first as they were busy! Food arrived and my friends screamed egg had solidified as it had obviously been left on the side as they were busy . Sent this back which meant I was eating whilst my friend was not. They did try to compensate with 2 glasses of champagne and a dessert but I would rather have had better service.

Had an early breakfast before hitting the shops and was exactly what we needed. Coffee was lovely and the service was its usual high standard.
