Perched directly above Lake Bonavista with large glass windows overlooking the lake, The Lake House is home to one of Calgary’s finest and most creative restaurants as well as a unique setting for weddings and events.

The Lake House features Canadian Rocky Mountain Resorts‘ (CRMR’s) renowned and distinctive Rocky Mountain Cuisine. This is interpreted and presented by Chef Gareth Colville. Chef Colville and his team excel at showcasing the regional flavor of Western Canada. Our locally inspired menus are complimented by a diverse wine list offering global selections authored by acclaimed sommelier Brad Royale.

Our meal was a special New Years Eve meal with 5 courses. Each course was exceptional and the service was great . Definitely recommend The Lake House.

The Lakehouse is an excellent restaurant. The beet salad was great. The elk was cooked to perfection and the dish excellent. The sticker toffee pudding finished off a perfect meal.

I haven't been to the Lake House in quite sometime. The food is always good, and the service is also very good. I find it so cramped when I go there. I guess everyone needs to squeeze as many tables as possible. It is a great restaurant and has wonderful staff. We were well taken care of.

Overall it was the best Anniversary experience, it's our 18th year and the lake house made it more special for us. We will definitely celebrating more beautiful memories in this restaurant!
