We are not just a restaurant, but an institution in Arlington. The first floor of our restored historic property houses an inviting bar and lounge that remains vibrant all hours of the day. Our upstairs dining room offers professional service, a warm ambiance, and a menu featuring rustic, modern American cuisine. We are devoted to in-house production: we bake all of our own bread and pastas, sausages, and desserts. Our beverage program features creative specialty cocktails, a diverse wine list, and a great selection of premium draft and bottled beer. We are known for our unlimited small plates brunch on the weekend and late night dancing Friday through Sunday. Liberty To-Go offers a separate carry-out entrance on Irving Street where wood-fired pizzas, house-made pastas, fresh salads and other specialties are offered for enjoyment at home.

The Liberty Tavern offers a "lovely experience" with a varied menu and standout items like pizzas and burgers. The atmosphere is cozy, though sometimes bustling, with a "super friendly staff" and attentive service. While some dishes divide opinions, the brunch and small plates are "outstanding." We both enjoyed our meals at Lberty Tavern, as we have in the past. The service, with Mason as the server, was excellent. Prices were very reasonable, particularly considering the quality of the servings. The Fruiti Du Mari was excellent. It may be on the menu only seasonally. We will be back again. Chris

We had great service and even though it was brunch the chef made an exception and let us order an item off the lunch menu. The food was food as well. The only negative was that there was a large group with children behind us. They were loud and obnoxious letting their kids run free, jumping on the furniture, wrestling, singing and the like. After an hour and it being clear that the parents were not going to reign the little urchins I do wish that management would have stepped in and made them mindful of the other dining guests. In retrospect, we should’ve asked to have our table moved. However, I would think that management would not want their furniture treated like that, and as I mentioned, been attentive to the other guests in the restaurant as well.

Very attentive service and delicious food. It is a tad loud especially for our large group. However, we’ll definitely return when back in town.

They changed their brunch and it is no longer a buffet but small plates. No pizza and no steak anymore. Wasteful food and not that good. Disappointing used to be incredible.

We went here for Thanksgiving . The turkey was dry and looked and tasted like it had been bought at the deli department of a grocery store. Very disappointing. Soup, salad and dessert were veery good. Our server kept apologizing for the service saying that they had reservations for over 500 people that day. Half of the room we were in was empty, We spoke with the manager about the lackluster Turkey and he took one of the meals off the bill. I expected a nice turkey dinner. Sadly we didn’t get one.

It's a nice cozy friendly place. The food is okay, but nothing spectacular. Nice place for casual lunch or drink. Our server was very pleasant, but she's seemed very busy and service was a tad slow. No
