The Meat Co est un restaurant situé dans le centre commercial de Westfield, à Londres, et représente la première branche d’une chaîne internationale de restaurants-grills. Tout le monde se doutait que le centre commercial allait avoir beaucoup de succès grâce aux boutiques de mode, mais qui aurait deviné qu’il deviendrait l’une des meilleures adresses pour tous les fins gourmets de Londres ? Dessiné et conçu par Jorge Castillo, de New York, l’intérieur du restaurant se compose d’un authentique mélange de bois, de pierres, et de cuir, alors que la très impressionnante vitrine des vins expose près de 2000 bouteilles, presque toutes issues de vignerons reconnus et récompensés. Les férus de viande ne seront pas déçus. Ils pourront déguster une viande parfaitement mature, découpée et grillée à la perfection. Côtes, filets, hamburgers, brochettes grillées, ou encore filet de kangourou pour plus d’exotisme, vous aurez l’embarras du choix ! Le restaurant propose également un menu halal, ainsi que de nombreuses salades et plats de fruits de mer. Ne manquez pas d’ailleurs de goûter les savoureuses crevettes poêlées, accompagnées d’échalotes, d’ail, et d’une sauce peri peri que vous n’oublierez pas de sitôt !
