   Waitress talked too fast to understand, came to the table stayed at the table for a second stating she would be right back, but took 10-15 minutes to come back on several occasions, gave her the money for my bill in cash and a card, told her to use the cash first then the card so I could leave a tip, she came back 10 minutes later asking what it was I wanted her to do with the bill only to find out when I got home she charged the whole amount to my card, then refunded it without telling me so I was out the entire amount in cash and the entire amount from my bank account until it gets refunded. I only found this out by calling the manager when I got home to ask why I was even charged because the waitress kept that secret to herself.

   Overall the experience was nice we paid for all the upgrades and romantic package. The food was pretty good, only complaint was there was an obnoxious man with his family sitting on the other side of the wall and he was yelling and being loud which made it difficult to have a conversation with my spouse.

   The Melting Pot OKC is one of my favorite places to go for birthdays—so much so that we’ve been coming back for ten years! The service is always impeccable, the dining experience is always fun and well-paced, the food is delicious, and the ambience is welcoming and warm. Our server tonight was Miranda and she was on top of everything! Always a fun time!!

   We had an amazing time! We have been every year for our anniversary ( three years ) and had a wonderful and personalized experience every time! We enjoy this place so much we even took my parents, and I can’t wait to take his. Every time they have decorated the plates, always remembered our flowers, and no matter the request they always make it happen. Last night we had Kylie as our server and she was amazing! She helped us with all questions, was very attentive, decorated our plates at dessert to say “happy anniversary with hearts” and when we needed something changed for our entree, we asked and she made it happen! She was absolutely amazing! You can’t go wrong making this place a bucket list experience. I think a lot of people get worried because of pricing - but it’s worth it and you walk out of there so full! Plus, if you get the romance package it’s more of a private dining experience and I promise you’ll enjoy it! Thank you guys for all you do!

   Do not eat here if you have celiac’s or a gluten sensitivity. We went here on Valentine’s Day and got the ultimate romance package and arrived 10 minutes early for our reservation as told on the reservation. We didn’t get seated until almost 30 minutes after we were supposed to. I even saw people walk in and get seated after we had been there. We were told we had to leave within a two hour period when I called but they didn’t even give us the last portion until over 2 hours after our reservation. I called over 2 days before the reservation to let them know that my Fiance has an autoimmune condition that requires a gluten free diet and were told they would substitute the gluten based items. Our server brought us a plate of bread and I asked to make sure and he did confirm it was NOT gluten free. He asked if we had celiac’s specifically and I said no but due to how busy it was in the moment we felt as we could say was it was no big deal. We got to the deserts once again filled with gluten only options and asked specifically if they had any other gluten free desserts and only got snickerdoodle cookies (gluten free). I checked the website after and found that they also had gluten free pound cake which we did not get and while writing this review I checked again and found that there was a gluten free bread option which we did not get either. They then tried to take back the glasses that I paid extra for because we did not want to drink wine. This was a total waste of time and money and if I trusted them my fiance would be very sick from eating gluten without knowing on the day of our engagement. Over $400 wasted, restaurant, server, and host couldn’t care less about us or my Fiance’s medical condition. Unacceptable

   Our server Abby was absolutely amazing! She was very helpful, super knowledgeable of all the different foods and drink combinations. She was very attentive to all our needs. It was an excellent experience and we will return again and again. Have been going there for years and they never disappoint us.

    We had the Valentine 5 course experience. The tomato bisque was very good. The dressing on the California salad is always so good. The baked potato cheese fondue is my husband's favorite. We chose the entre with steak, pork, & chicken. We were full and had meat left over. No matter how full you feel, there is always room for the chocolate fondue. We tried the dark chocolate strawberry this time and were very surprised. It was delicious.
