   The bar and main dining room were loud but the wine room to the side was relaxed and quiet. The food was ready quickly and was delicious.

   The ribeye steak and salmon were both excellent as was the coconut cake dessert.

   I have been here dozen or so times. It was the least positive visit. The steak was overcooked and bland. O requested Pittsburgh style medium rare. It was not cooked properly. One side tasted burnt as it appeared it stayed on that side too long. Portions of the steak were medium well. I always have had the kitchen slice the steak to share if desired. I had to go through three people to get it done and was told no until the manager had it done. This is terrible service. The Brussel sprouts tasted green and was not seasoned well. I expected and deserve better. Interestingly, the table next to us left unhappy as one of the regulars on the opposite side of the ones next to us communicated to the manager that the ones next to us had a negative experience. I won't be back as there are too many better options. It doesn't matter if the kitchen was busy as they should ensure the quality of service and food is on point reguarldess as to their internal challenges.

   The Mercury is a go to for a 5* experience whether it's a casual night out on the town or a celebration. From the valet to dessert, always very good. We usually sent in the bar area and have appetizers and a drink. Last night we invited a couple to join us for dinner. Brandon was our server, ask for him - you will not be disappointed. We started with sushi appetizers, fantastic. Spicy Tuna roll sooooooo goooooood. Our friends shared a ribeye, my wife and I shared the salmon. Everything delicious. Definitely consistent and enjoyable on each visit.

   Food was fine. Service was only fair, but not the waiter's fault. They were seriously understaffed, compared to previous visits. And, we were seated next to a VERY large table of folks for a business dinner, which got way too loud for what we'd hoped would be a quiet Valentine's Eve dinner. They could have done better by putting that large group as far away from the rest of the diners as possible. Instead, the large table was nearly in the center of the room, which made it noisy everywhere. As for staffing, our waiter barely acknowledged us after our order came. No follow up on food quality, no tempting dialogue for a dessert, and, we had to ask and wait for the check. Again, not his fault, and probably a sign of things to come with immigration enforcement scaring off the staffs of our favorite restaurants!

    Server was attentive and fun, and the martinis were delicious, especially the espresso martini! The lamb shank was very tender and delicious! It’s a great place to catch up with friends.
