We’ve been to the Mill on the River many times for dinner, but had never tried the Sunday brunch until today. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back again. Food and service were excellent as always.

Food was delicious and while pricey, completely worth it. Ash, our server, was phenomenally attentive without being disruptive. We were allowed to take our time, order in waves, and enjoy the view of the waterfall. Cocktails were divine and well-made, and the entrees were generous without being ridiculous. The restaurant catered to our dietary needs without batting an eye, and not one bite was left to carry away.

For the four of us, it was the first time any of us had ever been to this lovely restaurant. The atmosphere around Christmas time was amazing! We enjoyed a properly paced, delicious meal capped off by phenomenal desserts. Our wait staff was wonderfully cordial and engaging

I have been to Mill on the River twice in the last three months. The first time was so exceptional we decided to go back again. In the fall we were seated in the main part of the restaurant. The ambiance was impressive. It was very cozy and was beautifully decorated for the season. Two of us had the coconut shrimp to start and it was delicious. The other person in our party had the fresh Buffalo mozzarella and he said it was great. Two of us had the lobster, which was one of the specials. It was by far the best lobster we'd ever eaten. The third person in our group had the pappardelle bolognese and he declared it fabulous. For dessert we split the creme brulee and it was good, but nothing special. The second time we were there was the weekend before Christmas. I was looking forward to seeing how it was decorated this time. No such luck. We were seated on, what would be the patio in the summer. They have hung up plastic "walls" and there are heaters, but it was uncomfortable. One side of you is chilly and the other side is warm. Once it gets dark there's not much of a view, although it's probably nice to sit there in the summer. Our server spoke so fast we all had trouble understanding him. We started with the giant pretzel with cheesy beer sauce. It was underwhelming and not something we'd ever order again. We all had the specials this time. Two of us has the surf and turf and the other had prime rib. The surf and turf was a baked stuffed lobster tail and filet mignon. The lobster tail was good as was the filet. but it had to be the smallest filet I've ever been served in a restaurant. The prime rib was excellent. For dessert we split a slice of cheesecake this time. It was not very good at all although it was nicely presented. I think the cheesecake at Costco is better.

Ate on the heated patio. Was very lovely and warm. White chocolate on rocks drink was great, food was good. I got the seafood skillet (like a sampler$ - most was delicious but it seemed some pieces were cooked better than others or maybe I’m just not enough of a fish person. It also seemed to have been all tossed and coated in garlic parm panko. The potato was also a bit lackluster - just literally that, a baked potato. But the coleslaw was the perfect blend of creamy, sour, sweet, and salt. So overall, 4/5 The service and vibes were wonderful, our waiter was excellent and attentive. They sang me happy birthday and put a candle in my dessert. I got the chocolate lava cake (flourless cake). I subbed the vanilla for their raspberry ice cream. Very yummy though too much food. I went on recommendation of chocolate desert options and ambiance and was not disappointed. Hubby loved the lamb as well, which was cooked to medium rare and was yummy. Overall, would def return, but maybe just get cod or a fish I know I liked rather than try a sampler version. High recommend still
