Getting seated and ordering was a normal restaurant experience. Once we got our food we notice it was a little off. We both got the Valentine's special so steak, shrimp, green beans, and mashed potatoes. The first thing we noticed was the steak was not rested. It was leaking all over the place. The mashed potatoes looked like they had sat under a heat lamp waiting on the steak. The shrimp was good though. We also got the brussel sprouts to share. It was more like a brush sprout slaw but it wasn't that bad. It was very, very salty due though. It was fine when mixed with the potatoes and steak. I wouldnt recommend getting steak or the brussel sprouts to anyone. Maybe the other dishes are ok but we were very disappointed with our food. We didn't say anything partially because no one ever came over to our table after our food showed up. No one ever came over and asked if we wanted another drink or to see if our food was ok. They weren't busy and I could see people just standing around so they could have easily come over. Overall I would not recommend anyone to go here.

After walking past many open tables- we were seated in a room with a large party that took up the majority of tables. It was very loud and seemed weird to seat us at the only open table in that room when there were plenty of other open tables in the restaurant. This room was obviously used for big parties as when initial party left another big party moved back in.

We had a wonderful server. We were seated almost immediately. It was a delightful experience. Varied menu choices. Everything was great.

Very nice! We both had side salads that were fresh a good size. My friend had the shrimp penne pasta and loved it. I had the potato soup and it was very good. We had a nice dinner for a good price.

I've had many Turkey Burgers and theirs is the best BY FAR! Add pepperjack!

We were rushed. I made the mistake of giving the server orders for an appetizer and both entrees and asking him to time the order so they would come out sequentially and allow us a leisurely 75 minutes before we had to leave. Instead, the app was there within 5 minutes and the entrees were served 5 minutes later. The server apologized saying, “I don’t know what’s going on in the kitchen.” So we finished up 30 minutes earlier than planned. I’ve tried this strategy of trusting the server on timing before, but it didn’t work last night. I felt the News Room was just focused on turning out food and turning the tables. Food was OK.

The News Room is a great eating establishment. The bar is shaped like a ship, there are news articles as the wall paper, and the music is on point. Our waitress was very nice, the food was amazing. We had the tortellini and Angus steak round, oh and the chocolate torte! Yum!

With a name like The Newsroom, I was not expecting a sports bar atmosphere. I was expecting it to be themed like a Newsroom. Server, Jake, was great. The brie bites were wonderful. And we made it to the theater on time.
