We went to The Palm Court Restaurant for dinner. We came from Miami to celebrate our daughter's sixteenth birthday. Our server Mohamed Jabari made our experience special. He warmly welcomed our daughters, especially the youngest (11 years old) he clearly explained the story of Eloise and presented the girls with pink napkins! He recommended a champagne that was "magnifique". Small details that turned into great memories for our family at The Plaza Hotel. Thanks again Mohammed! We would love to return! I highly recommend it.

We ordered the Eloise high tea for my daughter & regular high tea for me. The presentation was amazing and the food was tasty. I would have given this experience a higher score if it wasn’t for our server, who was attentive to his other tables and at one point was sitting at the table with the guests while we received no service. I had to ask other servers for help multiple times, and at that point I was fed up and decided to leave. I couldn’t get my server’s attention and gave my payment to what looked like a manager. There was an automatic tip of $50 for a server that didn’t earn it. What should have been a pleasant experience for a mommy daughter tea date turned out to be disappointing, and we were guests at the hotel.

The atmosphere is amazing, the Palm Court looks amazing and the service was excellent. Other than than, the food was ok, nothing special as we imagined. It took quite some time to get our drinks and the place wasn’t even half full. Would we visit again? Yes, but only for a drink at the bar.

I went there for evening service which had a prix fixe menu. The mini sandwiches and sweets were ok nothing special just average food and definitely you don’t get the value nor the quantity for the money you pay. They did not serve tea which was disappointing as not all people drink alcohol plus tea goes well with the menu they are offering (sandwiches and sweets).

On Jan 1st we couldn’t chose from la carte, there was a set menu for 95$, a kind of afternoon tea! But I did not like the food! Savoury pieces were better than sweets, but I did not find a good quality overall.

Poor service, given 18% gratuity is already included in the bill the server was rude. She poured the drinks in such a way that they went flat and while she did replace them after being advised, she then ignored us for the rest of the evening. They don’t serve tea or coffee (despite the evening menu being served high tea style). The sandwiches were very stale, the bagels had become soggy and the lobster roll was so incredibly dry. Overall a pretty disappointing experience.
