After having come to The Pearl a few times, we were looking forward to coming again for a birthday. We sat down, were greeted and poured water. At least 20-25 minutes passed before one of us got up to ask the waiter if we could please order drinks. Meanwhile, another couple who were seated at the same time were finishing up their first course. Immediately, the waiter’s tone shifted. Order was taken - drinks delivered were incorrect, as was part of the first course. Nothing was said about the service from any of the staff…nothing was adjusted on the check even after the poor customer service. For the ambience, prices, etc, this was a disappointing experience by an otherwise very good restaurant. Perhaps it was an off night..

We had a FABULOUS meal at Pearl, from our drinks to our meals. Very attentive service too boot! Highly recommend any of the following dishes: scallops, salmon, seafood linguini, or short ribs. Truffle fries delicious too!! Carrot cake for dessert wrapped up our dinning experience.

My food order was mixed up in the kitchen, and everyone else in our party was done eating when they brought it to me. It was quite uncomfortable, and I did not finish my meal because I felt I was holding everyone back from leaving. Everyone in my party assured me they would make it right. They took a few dollars off the bill, which disappointed everyone in the party. I understand mix up, but was surprised at their response to an error on their part. Unfortunate that everyone in the party said it was a poor response to their mistake.

Price for quantity was off to me. I paid $36 for 3 Shrimp over grits on small plate. $48 for 4 scallops. Couldn't find a bottle of wine under $50. I used to love this restaurant but like many others think price is going up and quantity down. I won't go back just not worth it. Do sad too cause food is good.
